New Google Pixel 9 series to debut on August 13

 

Google has officially announced its upcoming Made by Google event, which will showcase its flagship smartphones, the Pixel 9 series.


So, the event is set for August 13th, which is two months earlier than the usual October launch. It will take place at the company's headquarters in Mountain View, California. The presentation will be broadcast on the YouTube platform and the Google Store website.


The Pixel 9 series is expected to include three models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 XL. Pixel 9 will feature a 6.03-inch flat display and dual rear cameras.


Pixel 9 Pro will have a 6.3-inch display and a triple rear camera with a telephoto lens. The Pixel 9 XL, in turn, will have a 6.7-inch display and a triple camera with a telephoto lens. The smartphones will run on the Tensor G4 processor.

In addition, a new foldable smartphone called Pixel Fold is expected, which could hit the market as Pixel 9 Fold or Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The company should also introduce new smartwatches called Pixel Watch 3 with a 1.2-inch screen and Pixel Watch 3 XL with a larger 1.45-inch screen.
